What I Found in 2014

A Look back at 2014

A Look back at 2014

I'm still trying to find my place in the world, but this past year has brought me a lot closer. This time last year, I had just come back from a liberating semester abroad in Argentina. Since then I've realized my passion for film and video, had one of my videos spread internationally, fully stepped into the platform of Youtube, switched into a less stressful major (Visual and Environmental Studies), taken on new jobs, made new friends online and off, left spaces that were unsupportive, and joined spaces that were. I've had to stand up for myself, and have grown in faith that God will always work things out. I am so grateful for all the support I've had from family, friends, roommates, and others.

Last year I learned to re-focus, and managed to sharpen an image of who and where I want to be. 2015 will be a year of trying to get there. It will be a year of change, graduation, independence, new roles, and newfound freedom. Now the task becomes how to use this freedom in the best way I can; to further my personal growth, my faith, and serve the world around me. I'm excited for what's to come.

Here's to 2015. Happy New Year :)
